Matsuri Event Bulletin:

The final week of August marks the peak of this season’s celestial event over the skies of Gran Pulse! New Bodhum’s clear weather has made for the best vantage point and from the cliffs off the northern shoreline, the area is almost devoid of the festival’s light polution. Two spectacular events will take place over the course of the festival finale! All of this concludes with the second annual New Bodhum Fireworks Festival, a presentation of light and magic visible from the beachfront; said to grant the wishes of all in attendance.
 
Come and enjoy the music and dance at the matsuri main pavilion, try your might at the karaoke night (more about this mini event soon!), hike to a pristine Pulse peak to view the meteor shower, and join us for fireworks at the week’s end.

- The Matsuri:

An open-air market bustling and crowded with food and fanfare from the rift. Experience a culture unlike any you’ve ever known. The stalls are open every day until midnight. They will be closed on the day of the fireworks. Special items this week include stargazing goodies and festival favorites.

We’re rolling out the stage for another evening of open mic! Do you have a secret talent? Show us your moves, grooves, rhythm and blues at NORA cafe’s Karaoke Night later this week. Watch the show and an extra special menu will be available at the cafe!

Cissnei stood in front of her bed. A Yukata spread out on it. She was just wearing her underwear - having just showered. A slight smile crept across her face as she picked up the garment. She nibbled her lip. If another Turk saw her she would die of embarrassment. But I want to go and look at the stalls and the.. well the everything. She slipped into the Yukata. Tying her hair up as well.

She looked in the mirror, she looked outrageously ‘girly’.

“Better sneak out then..” She whispered to no-one in particular.

So I was thinking, in terms of Lightning and the matsuri event, she would most likely be a miko at Etro’s shrine. Some creative liberties were taken and I had to incorperate nyurt’s bun request.

Ema are small wooden plaques on which you can write a prayer or wish. The ema are then left hanging up at the Etorojinja— Etro’s Shrine, where the goddess can receive them. Common reasons for writing a prayer on a plaque are for success, happiness, love, and health. 

Use the above templates to write or draw your wishes. You can choose from blank ema, wooden ema, and Etro’s Heart ema. You are welcome to change the colors as needed; illustrations are welcome, fill the plaque with anything you want. You may submit more than one (and you may submit them ic or ooc.) All who write their prayer or wish on an ema will receive a special blessing from Etorojinja. The plaques will be posted to the shrine when enough have been accumulated.  We ask for our own organization purposes, please do not submit them to the matsuri page, creature committee, or masterlist. Please keep your wishes appropriate for all audiences. Thank you!
